Public Relations Specialists
About this Career
Public relations specialists promote or create an intended public image for individuals, groups, or organizations. They may write or select material for release to various communications media and they design media releases to shape public perception of their organization and to increase awareness of its work and goals. Public relations specialists usually work in offices while some attend community activities. Long workdays are common, as is overtime.
