About this Career
Legislators develop, introduce, or enact laws and statues. These can be at the local, tribal, State, or Federal level within government. Most legislators are elected into specific positions and must balance the needs to private citizens, public officials, and party leaders. Typically legislators work full time and are most often working in a traditional office setting.
