Asian Studies
About this Major
The Asian Studies Program is a multi-disciplinary program that offers both an undergraduate major and a minor. The program offers students following opportunities: to explore one of the oldest cultures and civilizations in the world and its modern presence through language and cultural learning; to couple with an undergraduate degree a special expertise favored by many graduate programs and professions in today's society; and to offer a head-start preparation in furthering your academic pursuit and professional enhancement.

In a multi-disciplinary program, students will enjoy a great range of courses offered by academic departments throughout the college. The program aims to prepare students to work for different sectors as well as for advanced studies. Students majoring in Asian Studies will be prepared to undertake entry-level professional jobs in the realm of Asian commerce, communication, or social justice work, or continue on to advanced studies of Asian and international studies in a variety of disciplines.
